Biological sampling
Team COOOL worked during December 2018 to collect biological samples at the fish factory, Réunimer in Le Port. Our tasks involved measuring and weighing several species of billfish and tuna in order to create biometric relationships (e.g., length-weight) that can be used to inform stock assessment models for species in the Indian Ocean. Our team prides itself of precision and accuracy to aid scientific advancements.
