The Company for Open Ocean Observations and Logging, or COOOL, aims to research, develop, design, deploy and commercialize scientific instrumentation to collect data on marine ecosystems and support developments of novel genetic techniques to investigate marine population dynamics towards the sustainable use of marine resources.
About
Company for Open Ocean Observations and Logging (COOOL)
COOOL partners with research institutes, regional fisheries management organizations and the private sector to research, develop, design, test, deploy and commercialize scientific instrumentation (on-board electronic systems, portable measurement systems) to collect data on marine ecosystems. We support research projects to develop novel genetic techniques to sex and age marine species and investigate their population size. As such, we collect and store data, provide expertise, and manage data to make available for the scientific community.
